Benefits
We have three comprehensive healthcare plans to choose from based on your priorities and budget. Housing Works covers most of the plan; you pay a portion, based on your salary. Staff begins accruing PTO immediately for a total of up to 30 days earned in the first year. We offer employees an educational benefit. This money is available for tuition loan reimbursement, tuition costs, and text books.

Compensation Range: $24/hr - $26/hr commensurate with experience.
Overview
Locates and secures quality affordable independent housing for program clients by viewing available market rate apartments throughout New York City. Develops and cultivates relationships with landlords, brokers, and property managers to secure apartments for clients. Corresponds with HASA personnel to expedite apartment approval and the issuing of ongoing rental subsidies

Responsibilities
- Carries out tasks related to achieving program deliverables such as completing client intakes, initial service plan, housing assessments (HQS) and apartment inspections and ensures monthly client engagement.
- Accompanies program clients to apartment viewings, independent housing viewings and lease signings.
- Develops and cultivates housing leads and resources with NYC program resources, real estate brokers, private landlords, and management companies.
- Attends and participates in regular supervision, program meetings, and agency and/or funder trainings.
- Provides case management and benefits/entitlements support and collaboration.
