The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of Human Resources, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and adherence to compliance requirements. This role will focus heavily on talent acquisition, development, and retention, along with HR operations and compliance. Additionally, the HR Manager will play a crucial role in driving employee engagement and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition & Development:
- Develop and implement strategies to attract, recruit, and retain top talent.
- Manage recruitment process, including job postings, candidate selection, and onboarding.
- Ensure a robust talent pipeline through both direct sourcing and recruiting firms.
- Manage new hire onboarding process, including orientation program.
- Support development of training programs/growth initiatives for employee advancement.
- Assist in succession planning efforts to ensure long-term organizational stability.
- Maintain compensation programs, incentive plans, and compensation analyses.
- Manage the allocated budget for the Human Resources department.
- Conduct research and analyze organizational trends.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Facilitate performance management processes to support employee development.
- Provide guidance to managers on employee relations, documenting best practices.
- Develop and manage employee engagement and recognition programs.
- Support and administer culture enrichment programs.
HR Operations & Compliance:
- Supervise staff resources providing supplemental support to the HR function.
- Serve as primary contact for benefits administration and supplemental programs.
- Manage IBEW Union labor relations, communication, and compliance.
- Administer business insurance claims and other HR-related functions.
- Implement and maintain HR policies to support company objectives.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.
- Oversee occupational safety programs and manage company EMR.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with 2+ years in a managerial capacity
- SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, labor relations, and HR best practices.
- Experience managing recruitment, employee relations, and compliance initiatives
- Proven ability to develop and implement HR programs that support business objectives
- Experience with HRIS systems and data-driven decision-making preferred
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, & Outlook required
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass background, aptitude, & drug test
