Responsibilities

Event & Production Coordination

  • Update and maintain IATSE Union Crew schedules for work calls and event staffing
  • Communicate production schedules, timelines, and checklists to internal departments
  • Support the Production Manager in resolving issues during planning, execution, and live events
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate records of operational and production activities; submit timely reports and documentation
  • Assist with scheduling, coordinating, and receiving event sub-rentals and internal resources.

Parking & Permitting

  • Manage logistics for event-related street parking
  • Track and maintain necessary permits related to facility use

Facilities Operations & Maintenance

  • Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance
  • Collaborate with departments to coordinate installation, maintenance, and equipment repair
  • Support the upkeep of facility systems and spaces to ensure they meet operational and presentation standards.
  • Supervise the schedule and task assignments of the Maintenance Technician

Deliveries & Inventory Management

  • Receive, inspect, and distribute deliveries and shipments
  • Maintain organized storage areas and monitor supply levels
  • Keep accurate inventory records and communicate restock needs

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • 1–2 years of experience in event production, operations, or a related field.
  • Working Knowledge of AV equipment, lighting, sound systems, and basic power tools.
  • Understanding of industry-specific safety and operational standards
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to problem-solve quickly and effectively under pressure
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively

Physical Work Abilities And Requirements

  • This position requires frequent walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, stooping, and working outside
  • Lifting a minimum of 30 and up to 50 pounds
  • Moving tables, benches, and other large items
  • Using ladders, picking up trash, and whatever is needed throughout the space

Hours

  • Availability for flexible scheduling, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends
  • Weekends and holidays, as needed
  • May be required to work overtime or after hours to meet deadlines or address urgent needs

Compensation:

  • Hourly Rate: $21.00–$25.00/hour
  • Overtime: time plus one half paid for weekly hours over 40
  • Sick leave paid in accordance with Washington state law.
  • Eligibility to participate in the following benefit plans: healthcare, health and flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability, voluntary benefits, and retirement savings 401(k). Eligibility is based on average hours worked per week.
