What You’ll Do At OhioMHAS
- Perform general housekeeping duties
- Maintain and clean area assigned and fill in for custodial workers in their absence
- Stock and order supplies
- Move furniture and/or miscellaneous equipment
- Participating in appropriate interventions
- Maintain outside grounds
This is an hourly position covered by the OCSEA/AFSCME bargaining unit (union), with a pay range of
#2 on the
OCSEA Pay Range Schedule. Normal working hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, First SHIFT(s). This position is located within our
Northcoast Behavioral Healthcare at
Northfield, Ohio.
Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin at
Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.
Additional Salary / Appointment Information
- Salary Increase 4.5% July 2025 & 3% July 2026.
- Longevity supplement after 5 years of service
This position receives a minimum of 17 weekends off per year per the OCSEA union contract.
Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & in reading & speaking common English vocabulary. In accordance with Section 124.11(B)(2), revised code, Director of Administrative Services has determined this classification to be unskilled labor class & therefore exempt from written examination.
