Assistant Project Manager (Electrical) - Data Center
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Assistant Project Manager with expertise in electrical systems for our data center projects. This role is essential in supporting the project manager in planning, executing, and overseeing electrical installation and distribution tasks while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning and managing electrical construction projects in data centers.
- Coordinate with electrical engineers and contractors to ensure timely completion of project phases.
- Support project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation for electrical tasks.
- Ensure compliance with IBEW union standards and maintain safety protocols on site.
- Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks on electrical installations and equipment.
- Facilitate communication between various stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in project management within the electrical or construction sectors, preferably in data centers.
- Familiarity with electrical distribution systems and transmission processes.
- Experience working with IBEW union regulations and practices.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
