- Northridge Hospital Medical Center* is seeking a highly motivated and experienced *Boiler Operator/Stationary Engineer Lic* to join our team. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our boiler room, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and safety standards.
- Operate and maintain high-pressure boilers, pumps, and other related equipment.
- Monitor and adjust boiler operations to ensure optimal efficiency and safety.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate records of boiler operations and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and codes.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must have a L.A. City Steam Engineer license of 500 H.P. or greater.
- Minimum of two (2) years plant operations experience and one (1) year in a healthcare setting.
- Operate steam boilers, chillers and auxiliary plant equipment.
- Fire Safety card required within 90 days of employment.
