The School of Law has an outstanding opportunity for a Program Coordinator (NE S SEIU 925 Non Supv) to join their team.

POSITION PURPOSE

The Program Coordinator will work to support the academic and student service operations of the Global Business Law Institute under the supervision of the GBLI Co-Director. The role focuses on office administration, event coordination, and program support, ensuring seamless operations and fostering collaboration across the Institute's initiatives. This is a part-time 50% FTE position eligible for occasional telework based on business needs.

Duties And Responsibilities

Office Administration (40%)

Maintain comprehensive records and files related to GBLI activities, including lists and contact information for fellows, alumni, mentors, and board members; meeting minutes; presentations; and documentation of scholarships and authorships.

Coordinate the fellowship application process by organizing materials, communicating with applicants, and supporting co-directors in evaluating submissions.

Support financial operations, including processing reimbursements and providing information to Finance and Development & External Relations teams for funding and grant management.

Event Coordination (35%)

Plan and manage logistics for GBLI events (approximately 4-5 annually) including: attendee registrations, room bookings, catering orders, venue set-up, etc.

Coordinate and execute logistics for international faculty and fellow trips (once per year).

Draft event-related materials such as announcements, summaries, website updates, and student-focused marketing content.

Program Support (25%)

Attend cross-departmental meetings, workshops, and campus events to establish connections across campus to enhance GBLI's visibility and collaborative opportunities.

Act as the liaison between GBLI and other campus entities to maintain open communication.

Regularly share updates about GBLI initiatives, successes, and opportunities through newsletters, presentations, or reports.

Minimum Requirements

High school graduation or equivalent AND Two years of experience in the program specialty (higher education programs) OR Equivalent education/experience.

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience with event coordination, preferably in a academic setting.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity and experience working with diverse backgrounds.

Ability to maintain positive relationships with staff, students and faculty.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Attendance is required for some events after regular business hours.
