- Operates, checks, services, and with assistance, performs emergency and minor repairs of heavy mechanized construction and maintenance equipment.
- May assist crafts workers in performing construction and maintenance work.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience
- Three years experience or training in operation and maintenance of heavy equipment to include, but not limited to, backhoe/loader, sweeper and farm type equipment.
- Valid driver's license and two years driving experience. Will be required to successfully complete the Rutgers Defensive Driving Course.
- A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B with Air Brake endorsement must be obtained at the expense of the employee within 90 days of date of employment.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English as commensurate with job duties and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm
- Clean Driving Record
