Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and experienced *Biomed Tech Lead* to join our dynamic team. The *Biomed Tech Lead* will provide technical leadership, mentorship, and oversight to a team of Biomedical Equipment Technicians while ensuring the safe and effective operation of all medical equipment within the facility.

*Responsibilities*
- Provide technical guidance and support to a team of Biomedical Equipment Technicians, including troubleshooting complex equipment malfunctions, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior Biomedical Equipment Technicians, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing constructive feedback. Participate in performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for a wide range of medical equipment, including but not limited to: ventilators, anesthesia machines, patient monitors, infusion pumps, imaging equipment, and surgical equipment.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in medical equipment, utilizing advanced troubleshooting techniques and specialized tools. Document all repairs and maintenance activities accurately and thoroughly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of medical equipment, parts, and supplies. Manage the procurement process for parts and supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, including Joint Commission, FDA, and OSHA standards. Maintain accurate records and documentation to support compliance.
- Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure the safety and effectiveness of medical equipment.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide after-hours support as needed.
*Qualifications*
- Experience in the repair of complex medical instrumentation.
- Experience should be broad-based and not less than four years.
- A minimum of high school diploma, and training in Biomedical electronics.
- AA degree in Biomedical electronics.
- Fire Safety Card (must be obtained within 90 days from start date)

$45.23 - $56.86 /hour
