Provides Fire prevention activities for Hot Work operations. Hire will be required to join the IBEW Union.

Job Description:
Performs duties at the discretion of the Lead Worker. Duties include supplying and holding material and tools; cleaning work area and equipment, assisting Electrical Tradesperson accomplish assigned task. Provides Fire prevention activities for Hot Work operations. Hire will be required to join the IBEW Union.
Essential Functions:
- Provides unskilled help to Tradesperson in accomplishment of assigned Tasks.
- Moves material and equipment necessary to fulfill job requirements.
- Inspects and arranges temporary lighting for acceptable illumination of work area.
- Ensure work area is free of slip or trip hazards.
- Performs fire prevention activities during hot work operations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Must be able to fulfill job requirements as directed by management.
- High school graduate or equivalent, and minimum one (1) year of shipboard Electrical experience
