As an Installer at Electronic Design Company (EDC), you will be responsible for installing electronic communications equipment, including cable, fiber optics, and electronic devices. All installations must meet EDC’s high-quality standards while ensuring a safe and professional work environment.
Responsibilities:
Advancement Opportunities: Progress through various Installer levels, up to Journeyperson Installer, Technician, Foreman, and General Foreman, with potential to move into roles such as Programmer, Field Engineer, System Designer, or Management.

Responsibilities:
- Pull low-voltage cables
- Install hardware such as audio speakers, microphones, and monitors
- Operate cable testing equipment
- Track time sheets, service tickets, and inventory accurately
- Meet installation deadlines
- Comply with safety programs
- Operate power tools
- Perform additional duties as required by management

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of communication systems is preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with diverse groups
- Proficiency with MS Office and related software
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
- Standing, walking, climbing, sitting, and light lifting
- Work is mostly indoors, with occasional exposure to outdoor weather
