Finance Manager, Residuals

Location: Culver City, CA (Fully Remote)

5-month contract assignment (potential to extend)

Pay: $50-52/ HR

Our client, a leading multinational media and entertainment company, is seeking a Finance Manager, Residuals to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the residuals setup process from beginning to show auditing and approval.
• Manage one residuals analyst who is tasked to perform the collection and gathering of mandatory residuals delivery.
• Work with external service provider (EP) in their inquiries pertaining to show setup approval.
• Assist ED of Residuals in the creation of residuals estimates.
• Assist in the research of guild claims and network rebill support.

Education & Experience:

• BS/BA degree with accounting/finance focus required
• 5+ years of residual experience
• Possess extensive knowledge of the SAG-AFTRA, WGA, DGA, AFM, IATSE, MEAA, UBCP, ACTRA, British Equity Agreements.
• Must know how to break timecards to calculate Network and SVOD bases, applicable minimum, salary and time units, and pension ceiling.
