Duties
- Assist higher graded specialists with a variety of loans, grants, and loan guarantees for construction and operation of electric utility systems.
- Compose routine correspondence to borrowers, monitors reports, attends meetings, etc.
- Use automated systems in processing actions.
- Provide loan and financial analysis to commercial or noncommercial entities which apply for or have received grants, loans and loan guarantees to finance the construction and operation of electric utility systems.

Qualifications
Applicants must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of the announcement including time-in-grade restrictions, specialized experience and/or education, as defined below.
Time in grade~ Current federal employees applying for a promotion opportunity must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirements of 52 weeks for service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled.
For the GS-07 level~ Applicants must possess one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-05); or its non-Federal equivalent that demonstrates~ experience in assisting with a variety of loans, grants and loan guarantees for construction and operation of electric utility systems; and experience identifying basic financial errors, and interpreting guidance.

Successfully completed at least one full year of graduate level education (18 semester hours, 27 quarter hours or equivalent) in a degree program directly related to the work of this position as described above.
OR
Combination of graduate level education (as described in the vacancy announcement) and specialized experience that together meets the qualification requirements for this position.

Superior Academic Achievement - I meet one of the following requirements~ Upper 3rd of my graduating class based on completed courses; 3.0 or higher out of 4.0 based on 4 years of education, or on courses completed in the final 2 years of curriculum, or a 3.5 or higher based on average of major courses completed or major courses completed in the final 2 years of curriculum; a member of the national scholastic honor society in accordance with Association of College Honor societies described in the vacancy announcement.
