THE MUSICAL is seeking a Company Manager. The position will collaborate with the General Managers, Producers, Stage Managers, and the Creative Team to support the day-to-day business, logistics, and operations of the MOULIN ROUGE tour.This is a full-time touring position.PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
A strong team player, with the ability to work well under pressure.Organized, with an attention to detail and follow through.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Good with people – from performers, crew, and musicians, to producers, creatives, local presenters, and audience members.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The CM will work with the General Manager and the Assistant/Associate Company Manager to:Book and coordinate travel, ground transportation, and housing for a touring company of 75, plus creatives and producers, as needed.Process weekly payroll, reimbursements, and remitting union benefits.Audit and report nightly box office statements and weekly financial settlements.Oversee processes for company house seats, releases, and inventory management.Work with the tour’s leadership, EDI, and HR teams to ensure all HR & Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion practices are being uplifted and adhered to.File workers comp claims and assist company members with the insurance process as well as helping to locate doctors.Assist with the planning and execution of company events, parties, and maintaining company morale.Other duties as assigned.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
4+ years in a touring company management.Previous management of Broadway Union contracts including AEA, ATPAM, IATSE, Pamphlet B, SDC, USA, and the Dramatists Guild.Experience with Checks & Balances Payroll, Quickbooks, BambooHR, and Beanworks, all a plus.Oversight of individual and group travel and planning.Expertise with numbers and Microsoft Excel.The MOULIN ROUGE!
