Trisha for Colorado is looking for a hard-working, passionate Field Coordinator to join the campaign and help us kick Lauren Boebert out of Congress.


About Trisha: 


Trisha Calvarese is the Democrat running against Lauren Boebert in Colorado's 4th Congressional District. Unable to win re-election in her own District, Lauren Boebert moved from Colorado's 3rd District to the 4th earlier this year. Trisha was born in Colorado and raised in Sterling and Highlands Ranch. Her parents were conservatives and taught her the importance of family, community, and serving others. She attended Douglas County public schools and earned a full scholarship to Johns Hopkins.


Trisha is a wordsmith by trade. At the AFL-CIO, I represented working people in every industry. Most recently, she worked for the US National Science Foundation on key workforce legislation that is restoring American manufacturing and expanding the map of American innovation.


Last fall, she got the news that her mom had terminal cancer. Her dad had been battling kidney cancer for years. With both parents facing terminal illnesses, Trisha returned home to Highlands Ranch to provide end-of-life care for her parents.


Before he died, Trisha's dad told me to step up. That meant a lot coming from a guy who

voted Republican his entire life.


So that’s exactly what she is doing—stepping up to serve the community that raised her. Trisha can’t allow Lauren Boebert, a person more interested in cable news appearances than serving her constituents, to represent her community.

Field Coordinator Role: The Field Coordinator would report directly to the Campaign Manager and would be in charge of managing all of the campaign's direct voter contact efforts, including, but not limited to, meet-and-greets, canvas launches, phone banks, and other volunteer events. They would manage and train all volunteers and assist with building for and staffing campaign events. 


Job Responsibilities: 

- Managing, recruiting and training volunteers 

- Build and maintain relationships with local activists, volunteer groups, and party officials in the district 

- Coordinating the yard sign, literature, and supply distribution process across all parts of the district 

- Schedule and build for all volunteer events, trainings, meet & greets, canvass launches, phone banks and other community events

- Staff the principal at campaign and community events and write briefs and memos in coordination with the scheduler

- Manage Field Fellows and oversee data collection systems

- Oversee targeting for all Direct Voter Contact and manage the campaign’s texting program 


Requirements: 

  • At least one cycle of organizing experience on a campaign or for a non-profit
  • Experience with VAN, Mobilize, and Google Suite. 
  • If not currently in the Denver Metro area, must be willing to relocate (support housing available) 
  • Willing to work nights, weekends, and in a fast-paced campaign environment
  • Access to a car and a valid driver's license 
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
