Pay Rate: $19.00/hr.

Job Summary: Six Flags is looking for an artistic and creative individual who prides themselves on producing visually stunning work for scenic or promotional needs. Must have a strong eye for detail and safety in mind. This role is also responsible for creation, repair, and installation of park signage. This position falls under our agreement with the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, AFL-CIO District Lodge No. 947 and would be subject to the terms of the contract.
Duties And Responsibilities
Preventive maintenance of signs throughout the property, verifying condition is acceptable.
Constructing signs out of various materials – including but not limited to vinyl application, using power tools to cut out detailed parts, prep sanding, painting/lettering, and final assembly.
Perform work independently while carrying out assignments to completion.
Must be well organized and capable of maintaining a clean and safe work environment while keeping paint in good working order.
Repairing and replacing leather work on various ride attractions.
Working with the Special Project Foreman as needed to complete projects on time.
Assist other maintenance departments with park tasks.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills And Qualifications
Must be 18+ years of age with a valid California Driver License
Working knowledge of basic power tools
Previous Sign Or Artwork Experience Preferred.
Knowledge of Flexi/Corel Draw. Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, and Roland Printers preferred.
Creative with a strong eye for detail.
Position requires full availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
Strike conditions may prevail.
