Job Description:
Support Tech I
Principle Duties And Responsibilities
(Essential job requirements listed in bold)
- Transports patients in acute medical/surgical states under the direction and supervision of the Medical Imaging department and responds appropriately in emergency situations
- Floats to all areas of the Medical Imaging areas as requested
- Assists Medical Imaging health care team members with special procedures (lifting, turning and positioning patients)
- Ability to perform cleaning, disinfecting and sanitation within the Imaging Department.
- Performs timely cleaning duties related to room turn-around and terminal end of day EVS duties and performs other EVS duties as directed
- Identifies and corrects problems related to the environmental processes within the Imaging department.
