Assist with data entry of extracted provider information from the 1199SEIU Service Provider Agreement Application, facilitate provider outreach, document collection, and compliance tracking
Help facilitate workshops and other educational events, including coordinating logistics and assisting with the preparation materials
Assist with provider compliance by collecting and reviewing documents for verification, including verifying licenses and insurance coverage
Conduct research on trends in social services and childcare, including identifying best practices and emerging technologies, and presenting findings to the team
Provide support to the Provider Relations and Member Relations team as needed, including member phone calls, email blasts, and queries
Perform special projects and assignments as directed
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED; some college or degree preferred
Two years of experience in data entry, knowledge of youth development programs, and customer service.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with providers, members, and team members
Basic skills level in MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel required
High level initiative and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Must be able to work independently and be a team player
Must be organized and detail-oriented highly organized, and able to meet deadlines
Ability to work flexible hours, some weekends and evenings required
