Security / Low-Voltage Systems Technician:
Champion Alarm Systems, LTD is a well-recognized systems integrator that provides and installs electronic security & low-voltage (communications, fiber optics, public address, sound, etc.) systems to public entities, such as NYC schools, transportation and large corporate 100/500 customers.
Champion is currently seeking a security / low-voltage technician for the New York Metro & surrounding area. The position is focused on installation of new systems, device installation, programming and servicing of existing systems. Working field experience of low voltage systems including Burglary / Fire, Access / CCTV Video is mandatory.
This is a full-time hourly, union position, based out of our Farmingdale, NY office. Salary shall be commensurate with skills. Candidate should have a knowledge of security / low voltage systems, analog / IP-based circuitry principles. Knowledge of communications, fiber optics, public address, network infrastructure are a Plus. Manufacturers related certifications are a Plus.
Company minimum requirements for this position:
· Have a complement of own hand tools
· Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
· A full background check and drug testing will be conducted prior to hiring.
· Must be vaccinated (or planned to be) against COVID.
