Dominion Energy is seeking applicants for a Laborer position at the Surry Nuclear PowerStation, in Surry, VA.
The individual selected for this position will be required to perform housekeeping and maintenance duties inside and outside of the power station in all types of weather conditions.

This position is represented by the Bargaining Agreement between Dominion and the Local Union 50 of the IBEW. The starting hourly rate is $19.28.

- General clean-up
- Scrubbing/waxing floors
- Cleaning in various areas of the plant
- May also assist with other outdoor duties such as lawn maintenance and assisting with snow removal
- Assignment to a fire or flood watch
- Supports station operations when needed and should be able to wear a respirator and work in confined spaces
- Perform other duties as assigned
May be required to be a part of the Emergency Response Team.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to assist all departments daily in areas of physical labor duties.
- Will strive to keep the power station neat and orderly.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment (Bobcats, forklifts, etc) is a plus.
- Possession of a CDL Class B license is a plus.
- The individual must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, a background investigation pertaining to DMV, criminal history, verification of prior employment, and education records, and be eligible for receipt and retention of a nuclear clearance enabling access to our facilities.
