Responsibilities*
Teach 2 sections of Music Theory 149 (Basic Musicianship: Writing Skills, I) in Fall 2024. Teach one section of Music Theory 150 (Basic Musicianship: Writing Skills, II) in Winter 2025.
Required Qualifications*
PhD or ABD in Music Theory, or equivalent experience. Evidence of successful music theory teaching at the undergraduate level.
Desired Qualifications*
Teaching or research background in musical repertoires and methodologies that complement the existing strengths of the Music Theory faculty. Evidence of advanced musicianship suitable for providing effective instruction to talented students in a major school of the performing arts.
