Job Description
- EP* To provide care, preparation and positioning of patients to obtain high quality diagnostic images utilizing ionizing radiation. Responsible for the set up and operation of all invasive and non invasive equipment used during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular catheterizations, inclusive of documentation. Performs duties required to provide optimal patient care in the procedure labs.

Minimum Or Preferred Qualifications
- EP* AAS in Radiologic Technology or graduate of approved ARRT certification program required. 3 years of experience in Imaging Technologist Position (CT, MRI, Radiology, etc.) required. Previous interventional angiography experience (within past 5 years) preferred. Radiology Technologist required. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography (ARRT R) required. NYS Cert For IV Contrast Admin within 90 days required. One of the following, Am Reg of Rad Tech (ARRT CI), (ARRT VI), (ARRT CV) within 3 Years required. ARRT - R must be current and maintained for any employees hired/transferred effective 7/8/14. ARRT-CI Cardiac Interventional or ARRT-VI Vascular Interventional Certificate required within 3 years of hire/transfer effective 7/8/14. Must sit for first exam within 18 months of hire/transfer. Certification must remain current and active. Basic Life Support(BLS) within 90 days required. BLS - Existing Cardiovascular Rad Technologists as of 11/10/2020 will have until 8/31/2021 to obtain their BLS.
**For clinical positions, other than Registered Nurse and nursing support positions, internal applicants must have been employed in the same job title as the per diem position for which they are applying or in a comparable area of practice. Internal and External applicants must have a minimum of nine (9) continuous months of comparable work experience within two (2) years of the time the per diem job is posted. All applicants will be required to satisfy all orientation/probationary requirements.**
Salary Range
$36.77-$46.54 per hour *Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.*
