Job Description
We are hiring 12-hour day shifts (5am-5pm), 12-hour night shifts(5pm-5am), and 2nd shift. Starting pay is between $20.40/hour to $21.50/hour. Benefits are included as a union member in the UFCW, Local 655.
- Maintain hopper area and verify extruders are loading proper materials per work orders.
- Grind reclaim produced from production start-ups and off spec-production.
- Communicate with operators on regrind percent to run and regrind availability.
- Efficiently document and record material usage.
- Clean out various grinders and verify material to be ground.
- Label ground material for later use and place in proper storage location.
- Clean and organize equipment, extruders, equipment storage area, and warehouse aisles.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to read and understand fractions and tape measures/rulers.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word.
- Able to stand, squat, lift, walk, bend, climb.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment helpful, but not required.
- Experience driving a forklift preferred.
- Ability to Pass OSHA approved fork-lift truck test and follow all safety precautions.
