Seeking Director of Photography for the filmed production of a new musical
FIRST NIGHT, A CHANUKAH STORY , co-written by Tony Award Nominee Paul Gordon (Broadway: "Jane Eyre"; Off-Broadway: "Daddy Long Legs," "The Gospel According to Heather," etc.) and David Goldsmith (Broadway: "Motown, The Musical"; "The Descendents 3"; etc.). Produced by Virtual Stage Lab.About Virtual Stage Lab:Virtual Stage Lab (VSL) is a new model for developing and presenting new plays and musicals, but instead of a reading in NYC that comes with an enormous expense and just a few narrow opportunities for the industry to see the piece, VSL shoots “an enhanced presentation” on film, using a SAG-AFTRA Micro-Budget Project Agreement contract. The filmed version becomes the presentation, without any limitations.Filming will take place at the Barrow Group Theatre at 520 8th Avenue on August 28th, 29th, 30th and September 3rd & 4th with potential pick-up shots on the 5th (off on August 31st, September 1st & 2nd for Labor Day).TO APPLY:
