As
senior marketing attorney in our Corporate Legal department, you’ll provide counsel to the Marketing and Direct Acquisition departments. You’ll review advertising, sweepstakes, contests, and negotiate contracts for joint marketing ventures, sponsorships, advertising placements, influencer, and talent agreements. You’ll also manage multiple transactions simultaneously while identifying, mitigating, and resolving legal and compliance exposures.
Must-have Qualifications
- Juris doctor degree or Master of Laws (LLM) and a minimum of five years of post-degree legal practice experience.
Active license to practice law in at least one state;
- Active or Corporate license in state where working (or eligible to be)
Preferred Skills
Experience with advertising, consumer protection, and unfair and deceptive trade practice laws and regulation
- Extensive experience drafting and negotiating a broad array of marketing-related contract
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to simplify and effectively communicate complex legal issues to business line stakeholder
- Ability and desire to work collaboratively, advocate appropriately in team settings, and influence and persuade team members and business partners at all levels tactfully and effectively
- Experience with music licensing, SAG-AFTRA, and insurance [or financial services] laws and regulations
Compensation
- $109,300 - $156,100/year
- Gainshare bonus up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
- Participation in our restricted stock units plan
