The 32BJ Training Fund is seeking qualified candidates for part-time English as a Second Language (ESL) and Citizenship Exam Preparation instructors for classes taught in Brockton, Massachusetts.

Who we’re looking for:
- Creative, dynamic teachers with good interpersonal skills who enjoy working in diverse linguistic and cultural settings.
- Very proficient English speakers with strong knowledge of English and language use.
- Teachers looking to empower immigrant workers through citizenship/civics and English language education.
- Plan and implement lesson plans that are aligned to the program curriculum and incorporate the provided educational materials.
- Maintain and submit records of attendance.
- Maintain ongoing communication with supervisor.
- Participate in relevant professional development activities, as available.
- Perform other duties as assigned within available time.
- MA in TESOL, TESL, TEFL, or CELTA preferred and/or a minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with students from a variety of linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to use digital platforms to instruct, communicate, and record program data.
- Record of completed COVID-19 vaccine or confirmed medical/religious exemption.
- Compliance with current COVID-19 protocols of the organization
- Saturdays, approximately 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; varies depending on student needs.
- Classes on additional days and times may be available, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
- Start date as soon as possible.
- Brockton, MA
- Other locations in the Boston area may be available.
- $40.00 per teaching hour
