Under the direct supervision of a Supervisor of Highway Maintenance, supervises a group of employees engaged in the making of minor repairs of streets, street cleaning (by hand or machine).

Responsibilities
- Sanding of icy streets and roads, snow plowing activities, and the cleaning of motor equipment used in highway maintenance.
- Performs related work as required.
- Performs the duties of a Supervisor when designated to do so.
Minimum Entrance Qualifications
- Applicants must have at least three (3) years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, paid experience in a semiskilled or skilled labor position.
- Must have the ability to exercise good judgment and be able to focus on detail as required by the job.
- Must possess a valid Massachusetts Driver's License.
