Basic Requirement

Provide supporting documentation to demonstrate the following: Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, at least at the baccalaureate level. OR Combination of education and experience, including courses equivalent to a major field of study plus additional education or appropriate experience. Specialized Experience (for GS-13):

One year of experience performing duties such as: Utilizing advanced data science techniques including data extraction, transformation, cleaning, modeling, machine learning, and AI. Processing data and extracting insights from structured and unstructured data to solve complex challenges. Developing AI services in risk assessment, targeting, and chatbot development for auditing. Using advanced quantitative skills to interpret data for forecasting and augmenting audit decisions. Proficiency with statistical software like R or Python. Volunteer work and unpaid experience are also credited. All qualification requirements must be met and verified at any stage of the application process. Current federal employees must meet the Time in Grade requirement by 05/23/2025. Additional Information
