What You’ll Do At OhioMHAS
- Assist in implementing and planning of standard occupational therapy treatments, techniques, and activities
- Administer standardized assessments
- Assist patients to increase skills necessary to cope with community and daily living
- Provide treatment to patients on one on one or in a group setting
- Participate in design, construction, of orthotic devices/adaptive equipment
- Provide community resources for peer support and recovery
- Refer patients to local county agencies
- Develop treatment goals and objectives
- Participate in treatment team meetings
- Maintain Patient logs and records of interventions
- Complete and compile written/verbal reports
This is an hourly position covered by the OCSEA/AFSCME bargaining unit (union), with a pay range of
#29 on the
OCSEA Pay Range Schedule. Normal working hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday, Every other weekend, 1st SHIFT. This position is located at
1756 Sagamore Road, Northfield, Ohio.
Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin at
Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.
Additional Salary / Appointment Information
Pay increase of 4.5% July 1, 2025, and a 3% increase July 1, 2026.
Longevity supplement after 5 years of service
Current State of Ohio Occupational Therapy Assistant License pursuant to Section 4755.02 of Revised Code.
- Or limited permit pursuant to Section 4755.07, to persons who have satisfied requirements of Divisions (A) to (C) of Section 4755.06.
