What You’ll Do At OhioMHAS
Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin at Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.
Additional Salary / Appointment Information
Pay increase of 4.5% July 1, 2025, and a 3% increase July 1, 2026.
Longevity supplement after 5 years of service
Current State of Ohio Occupational Therapy Assistant License pursuant to Section 4755.02 of Revised Code.
Required Educational Transcripts
Official transcripts are required for all post-secondary education, coursework, or degrees listed on the application. Applicants must submit an official transcript before receiving a formal employment offer. Failure to provide transcripts within five (5) business days of the request will result in disqualification from further consideration. - Assist in implementing and planning of standard occupational therapy treatments, techniques, and activities
- Administer standardized assessments
- Assist patients to increase skills necessary to cope with community and daily living
- Provide treatment to patients on one on one or in a group setting
- Participate in design, construction, of orthotic devices/adaptive equipment
- Provide community resources for peer support and recovery
- Refer patients to local county agencies
- Develop treatment goals and objectives
- Participate in treatment team meetings
- Maintain Patient logs and records of interventions
- Complete and compile written/verbal reports
