What You'll Do As a Service Technician
- Responsible for overseeing the entire system repair process of Tech Electronics' systems at the customer site; ensures that the system repairs meet the needs of the customer.
- Maintains communications with the Service Supervisor and/or Service Operations Manager throughout the service request as requested.
- Maintains a detailed understanding of all local and national codes applicable to Tech Electronics' systems and ensures systems adhere to applicable codes.
- Maintains accurate and complete paperwork for each and every service work order; turns in all paperwork associated with the service request per company processes.
- Maintains truck stock as specified by the Service Operations Manager in order to increase first call completion of assigned service calls; provides feedback to the Service Supervisor regarding changes to truck stock in order to increase first call completion.
- Obtains and maintains manufacturer and industry certifications as scheduled by the Service Supervisor and/or Service Operations Manager.
- Understands and adheres to the service and safety standards developed and defined by the Company and administered by the Service Supervisor and/or Service Operations Manager.
- Responsible for suggesting methods to improve operations, processes, efficiency, and service to both internal and external customers.
- Obeys and abides by all company rules and policies.
- Maintains a favorable working relationship with all employees and managers to promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment in order to facilitate positive employee morale, productivity, and continued improvement.
- Responsible for participating in the After Hours Service rotation per IBEW Contract.
- License(s)/Certification(s)
- Valid MO Class E Driver's License or equivalent from state of residency (Required)
- NICET certification in Fire Alarm or Special Hazards (preferred, not required)
- Lenel certification (preferred, not required)
- Travel Required
- 5% of time could be utilized in out-of-town travel
