Your collaborative nature and seasoned interpersonal skills will make this job a breeze, as you’ll work closely with the Senior Manager of Training and Development to facilitate conflict resolution, partner with organizational leadership and the People and Culture team to identify trends in employee relations and cooperate with legal counsel and Oregon AFSCME representatives when necessary. While much of your role will involve interacting with various parties, your expertise in HR policies and keen eye for detail will aid in monitoring and reporting on employee relations trends, maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of all investigations, and assisting in the development of company policies.
The team is looking for a candidate who is able to work independently, utilize motivational interview techniques, and who is dedicated to ethical standards and integrity. If you have any experience in social services or nonprofit organizations, you’ll stand out among other applicants!
This is an on-site role that will require frequent travel to sites throughout Multnomah, Clackamas, and Clark counties.

- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, NLRA, Title VII, and other relevant legislation
