General Summary

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate. - Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
  
  

Schedule: Shift is 7a-530p. The position requires an on-call rotation that covers 24/7 emergencies including weekends and holidays. This equates to approximately 1 full week/weekend of on-call for off-shift coverage every 5-6 week.

Education/Licensure Required

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date - American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire.
• Previous Endo experience preferred.
