Position Summary
Under direct supervision, performs routine cleaning and maintenance duties in an assigned area within the school setting to ensure the health, safety, and environmental standard for everyone within the facility. This position will regularly engage in cleaning and disinfecting as assigned by the client which will include but not be limited to mopping, sweeping, dusting, laundry, and other cleaning related duties.

Duties & Functions

- Responsible for floor care, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and spot-cleaning carpets of all areas.
- Dusting and disinfect equipment, furniture, and/or fixtures, etc...
- Responsible for removing trash in all areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms daily
- Stoking of supplies throughout the school.
- Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
- Complete a Fingerprint background Check
- Complete a drug test
- Complete medical testing
- Experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions preferred
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products, including chemicals, supplies and methods used in office cleaning.
- At least 1 year of previous janitorial experience preferred
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to understand all safety requirements and cautions
- Ability to perform the physical labor necessary
