Salary Range: $20.00/hour to $24.00/hour

THE PRODUCTION TEAM

The Production Team is responsible for overseeing Cupertino Electric’s Field workforce, ensuring that all projects are executed with the high standards of safety, productivity, scheduling, quality and cost control. Our team is dedicated to operational excellence, maintaining tight control over project execution from start to finish. We take pride in developing and deploying the best Field Managers in the industry, leaders who drive performance, uphold standards, and deliver successful project outcomes.

About The Role

The Administrative Assistant provides daily support to the office-based Production team. Production manages union and field-office employees responsible for building CEI’s projects, coordinating between the IBEW and job sites as needs vary and change.

  • Coordinating union manpower needs daily via email, phone and in person
  • Requesting new manpower from local union halls
  • Dispatching union employees to jobsites
  • Updating manpower board for tracking purposes
  • Greeting union new hires, provides new hire paperwork and completes onboarding process
  • Sending out daily communication regarding all union manpower changes
  • Updating Check Sort program, assigning locations to payroll checks for delivery to jobsites
  • Coordinating special check requests with Payroll
  • Completing various forms and paperwork
  • Completing other administrative duties as assigned

Skill: Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.

Job Complexity: Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.

Supervision: Normally follows established procedures on routine work, requires instructions only on new assignments.

About You

  • Clear communications skills, and flexibility to prioritize tasks
  • Good systems skills including MS Word and Excel
  • Can-do attitude and desire to learn how to contribute to the project

Minimum Qualifications

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Some college preferred.

Licensure/Certifications: None required.

Experience: Two (2) years’ experience in the construction industry desired.
