rRESPONSIBILITIES: Under general direction from the Chemistry and

Physics department chairs regarding procedures and commitments, the

function of this job is to organize, coordinate, and perform clerical

duties and record keeping for Chemistry and Physics faculty, Chemistry

and Physics civil service lab managers, and 15-40 graduate teaching

assistants in the Chemistry Department office. Additionally, the

position maintains efficiency in the daily operation of the department

offices by supervising undergraduate student help.

WORK LOCATION: Macomb campus

APPOINTMENT: As soon as possible

WAGE: \$15.00 - \$18.71 / hour

This position is represented by AFSCME Local 417.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years (24 months) of work experience comparable to the

[Office Support Specialist

of this series.
