This position is open to the public and all current City employees covered under the City’s collective bargaining agreement with AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY, AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES (AFSCME) – BARGAINING UNIT 1, 3, 4 & 5.

Under supervision, the position will be within the division of Planning to perform various duties including identifying, defining, and documenting business processes and software requirements to be developed as software; and performing related duties as required.

Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree plus two (2) years’ work experience in business analysis or system analysis, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Selection Requirements: This position requires applicants to complete an interview. The interviewed bidders possessing the qualifications best suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the position will be selected in seniority order according to the collective bargaining agreement. The interviewed external candidate(s) possessing the qualifications best suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the position will be selected.
Desired Skills
Business analysis certification (e.g., CBAP)
Professional certification in agile methodologies
Expert level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), with the ability to efficiently create, edit, and analyze documents, spreadsheets, and presentation
