We're growing fast, and we're looking for passionate, detail-driven professionals who love the nuts and bolts of film payroll to grow with us.
Role Overview:
We're seeking a Film Production Payroll Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can confidently own the payroll process from start to finish. You'll work directly with producers, crew members, and internal teams to ensure timecards are processed accurately, all tax withholdings are correct, and union/guild regulations are followed to the letter.

What You'll Do:
Review and process timecards and payroll data for film, TV, and commercial productions.
Calculate and verify state, federal, and local tax withholdings across multiple jurisdictions.

Coordinate with production teams and crew to gather missing info and resolve discrepancies.
Help shape internal payroll operations and workflows as we scale.
Manage tight deadlines with confidence and clarity-no two productions are the same!
Contribute to team processes and build best practices alongside our product and ops teams.
What We're Looking For:
2+ years experience in entertainment payroll or production accounting.
Strong working knowledge of U.S. payroll regulations and multi-state taxation.
Familiarity with union and guild requirements and contract interpretation.

Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Comfortable in a startup setting-adaptable, communicative, and self-directed.
Passion for film, TV, and media production.
Reliable internet and ability to work U.S. time zones.
Why FilmUp?
Be one of the first hires in a high-growth startup with major clients already onboard.
Flexible schedule, fully remote work, and a collaborative, mission-driven team.
Influence the future of production payroll-your voice matters here.
Opportunity for career growth as the company scales.
