Position Overview


Everyset is seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead the next phase of development and scaling for our digital voucher and timecard products. This role is pivotal to ensuring our platform continues to redefine how productions manage background talent and payroll processes. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, design, customer success, payroll operations, and studio partners to drive product vision, strategy, and execution.


Key Objectives


  • Evolve Everyset’s digital voucher product into the gold standard for the entertainment industry.
  • Increase adoption, streamline voucher workflows, and ensure 100% production compliance.
  • Improve user experience for background performers, casting directors, production coordinators, and payroll teams.
  • Identify and capitalize on technology-driven efficiencies that reduce processing costs and errors.


Core Responsibilities


Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define the product roadmap for digital vouchers and related timecard solutions, aligned with company goals.
  • Deeply understand studio, production, and union compliance requirements.
  • Identify market opportunities for scaling the digital voucher across new customer segments.


Product Development & Execution

  • Write clear, detailed product requirements and user stories for engineering and design teams.
  • Prioritize feature development based on user impact, technical feasibility, and business value.
  • Lead daily product standups, sprint planning, and release management activities.


Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with Customer Success, Sales, and Casting teams to gather feedback and pain points.
  • Work closely with union partners (like SAG-AFTRA) and studio legal/compliance teams on standards.
  • Coordinate pilot programs, beta tests, and customer training for new features.


User Research & UX Focus

  • Conduct user research sessions with production teams and background performers.
  • Partner with UX/UI designers to create intuitive, frictionless voucher experiences across devices.
  • Champion accessibility and usability standards.


Analytics & Performance Measurement

  • Track KPIs like voucher error rates, time-to-approval, adoption rates, and processing costs.
  • Use data to validate product hypotheses and inform decision-making.
  • Provide regular reporting to leadership on product impact and areas for continuous improvement.


Qualifications


  • Experience: 4–6+ years in Product Management, ideally with SaaS, FinTech, PayrollTech, or B2B workflow tools.
  • Entertainment Industry Knowledge: Strong plus if you’ve worked with entertainment production, casting, or labor compliance workflows.
  • Skills:
  1. Expert in gathering and translating user needs into technical requirements
  2. Strong project management skills (Agile/Scrum familiarity)
  3. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  4. Data-driven decision-maker; comfortable with SQL, Tableau, or product analytics tools
  5. Understanding of compliance-heavy environments (e.g., union requirements, labor law)
  • Mindset:

Compensation


The salary for this position will be USD 125,000- USD 175,000 annually, based on experience.
