What You Need
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related
- 3 + yrs of experience in civil construction
- Experience Estimating civil projects preferred
- Proficient with Project Management Software
- Ability to coordinate teams
- Prepare estimates of probable costs of materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracts for construction projects based on contract bids, quotations, schematic drawings, and specifications.
- Understand contract specifics, prepare submittals, and track approval in writing. Complete and track change orders with approval and in writing
- Identify opportunities, create advantages, and maximize bid profit
- Continuously track in-house production rates, analyze, and apply to future estimates
- Preparing contracts and negotiating revisions
