What You’ll Do At OhioMHAS

  • Prepare and voucher invoices
  • Assist with preparing financial reports
  • Analyze accounts, expenditures and financial reports
  • Maintain accounts electronically
  • Investigate and settle disputes with vendors
  • Facilitate and expedite payment
  • Provide training/guidance to new Financial Associates

This is an hourly position covered by the OCSEA/AFSCME bargaining unit (union), with a pay range of #30 on the OCSEA Pay Range Schedule. Normal working hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. This position is located at Northcoast Behavioral Healthcare, 1756 Sagamore Road, Northfield Ohio.

Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin at Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.

Additional Salary / Appointment Information

Pay increase of 4.5% July 1, 2025 and a 3% increase July 1, 2026.

Longevity supplement after 5 years of service

30 mos. exp. or 30 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include an intermediate level of experience in spreadsheet software.

  • Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 6 mos. exp. or 6 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include an intermediate level of experience in spreadsheet software.
  • Or 12 mos. exp. as Financial Associate, 66561.
  • Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above. NOTE: Successful completion of the Fiscal Academy may be substituted for 4 mos. of required accounting/fiscal experience referenced in this portion of the minimum qualifications.
