What You’ll Do At OhioMHAS - Perform semi-skilled and skilled repairs on plumbing equipment, including:
- Sewer pipes, trap fittings, and plumbing fixtures
- Pumps, regulators, valves, faucets, toilets, sinks, and bathtubs
- Heating and air conditioning systems, lift stations, mixing valves, and actuator
- Perform semi-skilled and skilled maintenance, repair, and inspection of electrical equipment, including:

- Light fixtures, outlets, switches, and motors
- Appliances, electrical circuits, and electrical components of heating and cooling systems
- Perform semi-skilled and skilled carpentry work for building alterations and repairs, including:

- Partitions, stairways, furniture, door closures, locks, and cabinets
This is an hourly position covered by the OCSEA/AFSCME bargaining unit (union), with a pay range of
5 on the
OCSEA Pay Range Schedule. Normal working hours are Monday - Friday from 7:30am-4pm.This position is located within our
Summit Behavioral Healthcare Campus at 1101 Summit Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45237
Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin at
Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.
Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & in reading, writing & speaking common English vocabulary; 6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in maintenance repair work (e.g., basic electricity, plumbing, carpentry, masonry repair & use of associated hand & power tools & equipment); 6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in grounds maintenance; in accordance with section 124.11 (B) (2) of revised code, Director Of Administrative Services has determined this classification to be unskilled labor class & therefore exempt from written examination. Valid driver's license required.
