The Assistant Producer will work on a wide range of editorial and broadcast production tasks, including directing the live show broadcast. You'll create rundowns, monitor deadlines and supervise the show roll in the studio. You'll be responsible for executing our accessible and unique sound during the daily broadcast.
The Assistant Producer is also responsible for writing and editing on-air copy and helping plan future news coverage including helping plan future series and special themed programs.
Book, produce and edit more challenging interviews, where guest selection and editorial decision-making is critical, where applicable.
This position sits in the collective bargaining agreement between Marketplace and Screen Actors Guild—American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (“SAG-AFTRA”).
