Responsibilities
EDUCATION
- High School diploma or GED
- Technical school graduate preferred with courses pertaining to the specialty
- Chief Engineers license for the City of Buffalo.
- Two (2) - three (3) years Chief Engineer/Boiler Room
- Two (2) - three (3) years Chief Engineer/Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
- Willingness to work in a hot, dirty, noisy area.
- Must be able to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
- Must be able to weld, braze and solder.
- Knowledge of codes that pertain to trade.
ENVIRONMENT
- Frequent exposure to many disagreeable physical conditions.
- Normal hazards and physical requirements of the craft, to include, walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, turning and working in awkward positions and the ability to climb ladders and work in high places.
