Pay and Benefits
- $38.31/hour W2
- Sign on bonus $4K (this can be used for relocation expenses)
- 401 K starts at 6% match , then after 5 years 12% match, then going up to 21%

The Solar Technician II position is responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining all utility scale solar plant systems. In addition, the Solar Technician II is responsible for troubleshooting and operational support regarding all utility scale solar plant related problems. This position is also responsible for maintenance of the utility scale solar plant inverters, tracking systems and arrays.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must have a working knowledge of utility scale Solar Photovoltaic Electric Power Generation.
- Must bring experience working with energized equipment, not only construction or build of solar field.
- ***Candidates must come from utility size environment only, not residential, or not commercial (example the airport).
- Candidates must bring maintenance and modification in energized working utility field Construction and installation do not qualify alone for this level.
- Maintenance and modification of utility scale solar plant Inverters.
- Maintenance and modification of utility scale solar plant tracking systems.
- Maintenance and modification of utility scale solar plant arrays including modules.
- Responsible for all plant process instrumentation.
- Responsible for maintenance of plant RTU interfaces.
- Support capital projects from a solar technician role.
- Required hands on working experience with *voltmeters, Digital multimeters (DMM) and *clamp on meters – (this may not be listed on resume ask the question and only add if applicable)
- Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent- this is 100% required and will require proof.
- Preferred: Minimum of 2 years of work experience related to the Duties & Responsibilities of this position is required.
